Representative Bradley Byrne

Representing the 1st District of Alabama

Internship applications are now open for Summer 2020. The deadline to submit your application is Monday, February 24.

I am currently accepting applications for summer interns in both my Washington, D.C. and Mobile offices. Applicants should be current college students or recent graduates. Ties to Alabama’s First Congressional District are preferred, but not required. Congressional internships offer a unique experience for students interested in learning more about the legislative process and the inner workings of a Congressional office. Intern responsibilities may vary, but include answering phones, researching legislation for the Congressman, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters on various issues.

If you have questions about your application, please contact our internship coordinator, Casey Nelson. She can be reached by email at or by phone at 202-225-4931.
