Byrne to Hold Facebook Town Hall Thursday

Congressman Bradley Byrne (AL-1) will answer constituent questions during a Facebook town hall meeting on Thursday afternoon.

Congressman Byrne, who has held 26 town hall meetings throughout Alabama’s First Congressional District, will use the popular social media site as a way to take questions from constituents who might not be able to attend the in-person town hall meetings.

Congressman Byrne will be answering the questions Thursday afternoon at 1:00 pm CT from his Washington, D.C. office.

Byrne said: “It has been my priority from day one to stay in contact and accessible to the people I represent. I am committed to using all resources available to stay in contact with the people back home in Alabama, including social media.

“I’m still pretty new to social media, but I recognize the value in using this innovative tool to communicate directly with my constituents. Whether you have a question or just want to voice a concern, I hope people will take advantage of tomorrow’s Facebook town hall meeting.”
